The real tribute to any departed soul is to do what that person stood for and cherished throughout her life. Anindita did not want to die, but nor did she fear death. She was grateful to have had enough notice of her death to be able to do many things that she wanted to do first. She was beautiful, witty, intelligent, quirky and always immense fun to be with. She was a devoted wife, mother, a highly aware citizen, a meticulous teacher and above all a great human being. We have created a platform “Anindita Chattaraj Foundation” which will focus on providing quality education to the under-privileged girl child so that they are able to realize their dreams and break the vicious circle of poverty.

She always took a personal interest in the development of innovative teaching methods for her classes, and was eager to try new things in her classroom.
